APRIL: FGEA CONFERENCE

We wrapped up the FGEA Annual Convention during the last week of April. This was a special occasion for us. We had the honor of planning and facilitating the Spanish activities during the convention. This included: worship, workshops, and live translation of the English events throughout.

The body of Christ is full of a diversity of colors and languages. We know that Jesus desires that we have unity. This was a great opportunity to obey Him and see that happen.

MAY: LAREDO

May 1st we were privileged to team up with Pastors Rico & Sandra Ferdín, and FGEA to kick off a new church plant in the United States-Mexico border city of Laredo! In the first service 21 people attendedand 6 people made decisions for Christ.

Rico and Sandra are pastors from the Mexican church organization “La Gran Comisión” where we serve as missionary covering. This is the 10th church they have started and the 1st church they have planted on the U.S. side of the border.

JUNE: COSTA RICA

God is on the move in Costa Rica! In mid-June we were honored to play a roll in the birth of a new FGEA association of churches. At this moment they have 5 churches and 6 pastors. During this trip we celebrated our first ever FGEA national convention in Costa Rica. Approximately 130 pastors, leaders, and church members attended!

JULY: MEXICO 50th YEAR ANNIVERSARY

In late July we celebrated the 50-year anniversary of “La Gran Comisión” in our annual convention. What an amazing time! We had in attendance an estimated 3,000 people. What a blessing it was to have Pastors Galen Pearcy and Lonny Satterfield travel with me and minister to the pastors and churches!

AUGUST: CRUSADE

From August 17th-21st we served with Evangelist Dale Everett at a crusade in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. The Mexican leaders reported that 1700 people repented and turned to Jesus, 1000 people were baptizedintheHolySpirit,14 people were delivered from demonic possession, and countless others were healed!

One woman, who was carried to the crusade grounds, was fully healed of MS and now has complete liberty of movement! Another woman was healed of an abdominal tumor so large she looked pregnant. Jesus was glorified as we witnessed a great outpouring of the Spirit!

SEPTEMBER: POLAND/UKRAINE

This is the way to go, now walk in it…Isaiah 30:21

In early September Kim, Jackie, and Joey returned from a 16 day OneLife outreach trip to Poland and Ukraine.

The objectives of this initial trip were to make contact with the people, gather information, and most of all to share Jesus through supporting and
encouraging. Here is Kim’s summery of the trip:

We worked at two different refugee centers doing
anything from cleaning bathrooms to construction
work. We also participated for two Sundays at a Polish
church that works in the two refugee centers.

We volunteered at the Polish border for two 12+ hour night shifts where we welcomed and fed refugees. (This was an unexpected opportunity that gave us incredible insight and contact with many refugees and other organizations.) Afterward, we were able to cross over into Ukraine on foot, which is a story of its own. Once across we walked to a church, which was closed, and held our own mini service on its steps.

Apart from all of the physical labor, we were amazed at how quickly God provided so many opportunities to establish connections with many different groups and most especially develop working relationships with the leadership of Polish government, private and Christian led organizations.

This was a very fruitful trip with too many things to mention in this newsletter.
We will be posting a more detailed update on our website soon. Thank you for your support and prayers!
