What is OneLife Immersion?

OneLife Immersion, also known as OneLife, is an idea that Jesus inspired in Kim Morgan with the objective of equipping and launching this generation into missions and ministry for the purpose of seeing the entire world come into an active and personal relationship with Jesus Christ!

Our Key Verse:

Galatians 2:20 (NASB)

20 I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

It’s OneLife by Faith in Christ.

In other words, we have One Life, One Opportunity, to live by Faith in Christ! Let’s make it count!

So, now that you’ve had an intro in OneLife basics, let’s get into the nitty-gritty of some other factors related to OneLife. This is a question that I think every Christian asks God at some point.

“Lord, why is it so hard to serve you?”

Something my dad would say to us growing up was Salvation is free, but your calling is going to cost you. Romans 11:29 tells us that our gifts and calling from God are irrevocable; meaning we can’t give them back to God. Sometimes we want to treat God like the Amazon returns department: “Lord, I’m not really satisfied with this package of gifts and calling that you sent me. It’s got too many parts, the manual is a little complicated to understand & I don’t have time to watch the tutorials that came with it. What I really want is a complication free, no problems, non-time-consuming setup. Can I get a return? Thanks! #blessed 😃” Think about everything Jesus went through before even dying on the cross. The reality is that every christian will face God one day to show Him how they managed what He gave them. Personally, I think that should put a healthy fear of the Lord in every child of God.

Also, we should know that Amazon may mess up, but God doesn’t; every gift He gives is perfect (James 1:17). It’s the sin nature that has corrupted us, and Jesus is purifying that sin nature out of us, as much as we let Him.

In 2 Timothy, we are told that if we want to be a vessel of honor we must step away from sin (2 Timothy 2:20-21). I think sometimes it is so hard to be used and be filled by God because we are so full of sin, flesh, and self-ambition. Sometimes we just need a good spring cleaning to get our lives back on track with Jesus!

I love this encouragement that we are given in Hebrews 12!

Hebrews 12:1-3 (NASB)

12  Therefore, since we also have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let’s rid ourselves of every obstacle and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2  looking only at Jesus, the originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

3  For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Jesus had joy as He headed to the cross because He knew the endgame: Salvation for mankind. We need to press on with our eyes only on King Jesus; Keep running knowing that He sees us and is helping us. We need to get every distraction out of our way & make decisive decisions to step away from sin. That is the only way we will make it to the end of this race victorious. The thing that I am most excited to see at the end of my life is Jesus smiling at me.

I am so grateful for everything Jesus sacrificed for me & for the victory over death and sin that He won for me. I hope this is an encouragement for you to keep pressing into Jesus, and to keep pressing on toward Him!
